Yes but they have a bad economy because historically after decolonization they had a situation where multinational companies bribed the government to make laws against refining oil in Nigeria. But there’s some billionaire in Nigeria who decided to build a massive oil refinery so that instead of Nigeria producing crude oil and paying Europe to refine it, they can just produce and refine their own oil.
