To be completely honest, I kinda expected that blacks would be overrepresented due to racial bias in trials, but they’re actually a lot less overrepresented than I thought before I actually googled it. And native Americans are a lot more overrepresented than I would have thought. I’d imagine though that the percentage of crimes committed by x race varies in each country. Like the "13% commit 50%" racist meme, I bet if you looked at different white majority countries you’d find black people "committing" different percentages of the crimes based on how that country is known for treating black people and based on how many black people they have.
