The thing with these people is they can never really feel live they’ve "won." They perpetually feel like victims no matter how much power they have.

Given that the real world is an infinite game, the fact that they even want to win is stupid because in real life, there is no such thing as winning in the first place. Everything is temporary, before the dominance of mammals, there was the dominance of reptiles, humans are just a tiny blip in a much longer much larger struggle that won’t really be won by anything in the end because the sun will consume the Earth.
