Topic: why aren't there any gaming PCs the same size as consoles?

It really pisses me off when you need a gaming PC and all you have are giant 1950s room size big boxes, when Johnny PS5 can fit his thing under the TV no problem

Is it that big a problem? PCs aren't that big. Just buy any old desk and put the PC and a monitor on that. Easy-peasy.

There are some mini-itx cases that are pretty compact, and I think the beefy i9 NUC boxes can do light gaming too.

Please nigha, this place ain't a palace—more like a cramped box. Twelve square feet, they claimed. Feels more like twelve square inches. Can't even turn around without bumping into something. Shelves are overloaded with useless brikabrak: books got dust, plates gainin grime, and old photos that just bring me down. All jammed in like a curse. A FUCKING CURSE!

Making coffee is a hassle. Feels like the walls are closing in on me. Wish I had room to breathe, let alone move. Just trying to make this mess work. Just surviving, if you want the truth. Pick up the cup and my elbow sends the hot pot right down to my feet. Bare feet scalding, tears.

What I need is a damn PC that doesn't hog space. Can you understand? Something small enough to stash on a shelf, but tough enough to handle what I throw at it. Not another piece of junk taking up room, but something that will make existing in this iron maiden bearable. A solid compact PC might be my only way out.

Then you have to have the screen up and it doesn't solve the under the TV problem

You can spec these things out to like $1,400 in good stuff and it's the size of a beer coaster. Quit whining and get your credit card out.
