A sexless marriage is a form of neglect. Monogamy works somewhat if there is a sexual connection. Sever that and you have a roommate arrangement. Nobody is obligated to have sex with anyone - sure. The aggrieved party also is free to seek satisfaction elsewhere. It’s actually kind of nice to have a home base and family life and still have fun. The Reddit morons say “get a divorce,” as if doing so under a matriarchal family court system is cheap, easy, and convenient.

Marriage is for raising children and developing inter generational wealth. We just need to dump Victorian bullshit and the idea that one person can be your everything. That’s too much pressure and with time fissures develop and people change.
I haven’t seen childless marriages survive. It hits a point of enough already. I can see people indulging monogamy for 2-5 years. Attraction wanes. If you’re a guy who becomes an unfuckable fat schlub accept your fate and turn to porn. If are super fit to regain your wife’s affections, fail to do so, and gain other women’s interest so be it.
The key is not to be a shithead. If you wife has a hysterectomy and there’s no sex for a couple months, deal with it. Once you’re on year 2-3 of a sexless marriage, she loses her place in line.

I think that there are people who have temperaments suited to contentment in pairing and some that do not. And it does not help when the societal norm is for fucking around and maybe eventually bothering with marriage as a formality after already living the married life without the certificate (heck many countries will classify that as common law marriage regardless).
