I was thinking about the situation America is in right now. How we have a totally ineffective congress with two sides that can’t negotiate so now the government is shutdown and they’re having to move funds around just to find a way to pay our military’s paychecks.
This is a moment right now in American history that’s really unprecedented. With the way global trade is going it’s just crazy right now. Have you seen that one video from Indonesia of a monkey riding a motorcycle that tries to steal a baby? Monkeys are crazy, they’re like really stupid people, which is fucking smart for an animal. Can you believe that scientists have discovered chips are evolving? Chimps started using tools. Pretty soon humanity is going to have to face that next.

The fact that chimpanzees are smart is what makes them so scary, and they’re stronger than humans. They’re not as smart as people, but compared to other animals. Chimpanzees do stuff like they’ll rip your face off rip your balls of pull your eyes out. And they have a sense of unfairness. There’s like this vicious meanness that chimps have and this instinctual hatred for unfairness. That’s why those chimps tore that woman’s face off because she gave a chimp a birthday cake and they got jealous.

See, look, this guy on Reddit claims that it was officially claimed in 2015 that chimps have entered the Stone Age. People talk shit about Reddit but I know a lot of smart smart people who use Reddit. Just the other day I was talking to the guy who’s like the top sniper in the entire US forces in Reddit.

Has anyone else heard the theory that humans evolved to be smart because aliens came to earth and modified our DNA? What if illegal aliens are hacking into chimp brains using Chinese technology espionage against America? Can we defend against that? Our citizens are armed but like, they have force fields.

Honestly I just made this thread because I’m bored on a Friday and wanted to pretend to be Joe Rogan. But yeah, in real life there are real problems unfortunately.

Yeah isn't that the whole premise behind the show "Ancient Aliens"? I enjoy that as background and listen to their wacky theories on Ancient Astronauts.

There is no serious incentive to avoid this in the US. In fact, you're incentivised to be complicit in the shutdown and then blame the other party.
Which is precisely what's happening.
Im frankly done with the children bickering. But in all seriousness, neither party really cares about us. Republicans are engorged with the tech neofascists, and the democrats are caught up with special interest du jour, with a healthy smattering of surveillance as well.
Ive seen how the governments (local, state, federal) operate. It's fucked, and its going to be a long time to fix it, if possible.
Not sure what my plans are, honestly. Take it as I can, i guess.
