I’ve always been saddled with nesting women and relationships. As I grow older, I wish I had just had fun. Long term relationships and marriages are so declining returns. High expectations for men while women generally let things slide on their end.
My brother and every other asshole I know seems to have more fun and better sex. They’re not doing 9 p.m. airport pickups, working through caregiver issues or inlaws drama.

100%. I have a neighbor that does that - picks up a new one for a month then moves on. The current blonde he's on has about 2 weeks before she gets the eject button I figure :D. Usually yoga types, vendors from work, cute cashiers... that kind of thing; not marriage material.

Met a gal at a ski club and we decided to room together just as roommates - Separate beds. About the 3rd ski trip it was one bed.
At home and dinner she suggested friend with benefits. Her ex husband owned a restaurant meat supply biz and she had a freezer fully loaded with prime steaks.
So once a week for about 8 months it was dinner and hummmm dessert. Both of us wanted to be with someone we were really in love with so we both moved on.

Having someone that loves you and has your back is not anywhere close to being declining returns. I'd rather have a loving wife than a bunch of STD-ridden hoes trying to get a baby check out of me.
