It has to be offshored or in some data haven. Traffic needs to be encrypted. Regulators continue to allow consolidations that are shit for consumers. Companies always guarantee they won’t raise prices or diminish service, then they do. I’m not a gamer but apparently Microsoft promised this when it bought ActiVision and now Game Pass is up 70%. Airlines do this. Utilities and telecom do the same.

Wouldn’t it be great if streaming services or ISPs or gaming platforms found constant resistance from 100K-5M irate consumers.
