It’s stupid to still differentiate on melanin. Look to people who give a shit and don’t give a shit. Look to those who profit from these divisions. MLK didn’t “cross the line” with civil rights. He crossed it when he sought common cause on class and wage issues. Nothing scares the elites more than a united front across races on such issues. If you look at the earliest American rebellions you had white indentured servants, enslaved people, and native Americans battling land owners. That wouldn’t do, so a racial caste system was imposed.
