I don’t know what’s up with the YouTube algorithm. For the longest time it kept recommending me far right shit for white incels I’m not interested in. I tired convincing myself to learn Japanese instead of Chinese about a year ago, and now it’s recommending me WWII era Japanese propaganda songs just because I was listening to Japanese rap.

there are firefox extensions that are supposed to let you block specific channels and videos with specific words in the titles. the one I was using stopped working though but most of the channels have not reappeared anyway. I need to get around to testing replacement blockers, but I haven't been flooded with too much crap yet so I am slacking on that task

what seems a bother is when a channel you might otherwise be OK with does a shitting on of a channel that you don't like, but you think maybe not to watch it because then you get recommendation to watch the shit channel
