> fuck japan. the western world needs to hop off the koolaid. they're xenophobic and only want money from you.
Japan is fascinating but I don’t know why some Westerners worship it. It’s hierarchy and work obsessed, shames its homeless into commuter hotels, and it’s xenophobic and rife with abuses against women.
At the same time, politeness is valued. It is efficient and clean. No matter what your job is, there is pride in doing it to perfection.
There’s a balance, like all places. It’s just not worshipping it as some utopian alternative.

In case you two don’t realize, this post is supposed to be funny.
My actual opinion is Japanese people are old. And that’s my entire opinion of Japan. Thank you for coming to my TED talk. Imagine an old guy and how an old guy moves through life. Basically sums up everything you just said.

The lotus flower, scientifically known as Nelumbo nucifera, is an aquatic plant that symbolizes purity and beauty, often growing in muddy waters. It is revered in various cultures and religions, particularly in Hinduism and Buddhism, for its ability to rise above murky conditions and bloom beautifully. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nelumbo_nucifera
