According to Conservapedia, fundies somehow skewed genetic science to justify all of humanity coming from two people. I have no idea how they managed that, but at least they're trying to use science.

The young-earth creationists do stuff like that all the time. They will come up with some wacky numbers for the decay of earth's magnetic field or the widening of the moon's orbit to show that the planet is only 6000 years old. However, it's not as if they could find any other result than that which confirms their literal interpretation of the Bible, so they aren't really scientists using science as much as they are apologists pretending to use science.

The ancient greeks and romans would have 'divine' actions being performed by some pretty advanced machines. There were 'bleeding' statues which used early knowledge of pumps and things and automatic doors powered by steam power. And don't forget the Baghdad batteries, which some say may have been used in religious ceremonies as sort of a divine touch (shock) or something.
