The Nordic countries are a great example. A handful of families own the major businesses, the national wealth, and people’s employment. They are circumspect about it and support a broad social safety net. They’re smart and playing a long game. It’s not a constant boot stamping on your face. They’re not turning a Hawaiian island into their personal paradise. They’re not praising attributes of technocracy and Apartheid and funding a mob to do their bidding.
