Yeah, of course I agree. I just disagree that the right doesn’t also want to. Practically every country in the world has years of mandatory public schooling. Modern capitalism is a system where is often not possible for either parent to stay home to raise children so public school becomes an alternative to the parents raising their kids. But capitalism is right wing. It makes an imaginary number go up but it makes birth rates go down to unsustainable levels. You can’t eat your cake and have it too. Right wingers don’t want immigration and they don’t want to get rid of capitalism, but those are the only two solutions.

It would be stupid for a nation to not indoctrinate children. You need people to be willing to die for the government or you can’t have a state. The only way to do that is by educating the lower / expendable classes in patriotic propaganda.
