I'm talking about old bands like The Beetles... AC/DC, Ramoans, etc..... THey all have a general sense of "ass" to them why is that?

Part of the problem is the artists' careers span a decade then said 'fan' just plays the three radio singles the band is known for. The music isn't that bad when you dig through the catalog and play it through a proper amplifier and set of speakers.
