Believe it or not, people actually like shtick.

Think of your favourite cartoon characters from The Simpsons, Family Guy etc. Most of them have their individual shtick/memes that they repeat over and over.

This is why I think it's stupid when people say things like "Ban DM at the first sign of shtick". But a DM without shtick is scarcely a DM at all. As long as it's not shtick in every post, I would like DM to be able to post here and show his full personality. :)
