Back in Minichan's heyday, even tripcodes weren't a guarantee. People would invest serious time cracking tripcodes using Tripcode Explorer or Meriken's Tripcode Engine. It wasn't uncommon for people like Matt to rotate their tripcodes often as a result.
That was back when we had 100s of active users, both namefags and anons. Over time people stopped bothering cracking trips; too much effort, and people no longer cared to take this place too seriously. Nowadays we have more like 10 active users and nobody gives a shit about impersonation; we all know who pretty much everyone else is, so it's "safe" to not even bother with a tripcode.

this, i've stopped namefagging because it's redundant. besides, KL already did the best impersonation there is. nobody's ever gonna be better than that one.
