No, you’ve got your racism wrong. Mc is a prefix before Scottish names and Scotland is Celtic but they’re part of the United Kingdom and Protestant and they voted against their own independence. Ireland fought against the British by blowing people up. Back in the 80s they had boys down in London trying to shoot the queen. Very different.
