Topic: Why do women have so many health issues?

epoch flicker !!//ofCutyg started this discussion 5 months ago #128,309

Basically every woman I know has a slew of physical health issues. I understand that human bodies are wildly varying and random, but it just seems weird that like every woman I talk to has at least a few really serious physical health problems.

Is this just a filtering bias of some sort? Like I don’t date men so I only talk to a few platonic friends, but none of the men I talk to regularly really have serious health problems that they know of.

It could depend on where you live. The women I know don’t have the same thing. It could be either genetic (assuming you live in a very insular community), or more likely it could be something environmental or cultural.

Hopefully not environmental though if it’s caused by chemicals in the water or something then you’re kinda screwed.

Yep. I have a few small issues that get in the way of life sometimes.

Motive is the key. Is it attention whoring? Deflection if needed? An actual problem that's actually a problem? My bud's GF cries for 2 hours a day and he needs to talk her off the ledge regularly and give a sales pitch on why she needs to get out of bed for 45 minutes every morning (actually after lunch by the time she gets up usually). I say the pussy can't be that good but what do I know? Grown ass adult woman by the way.

Women are more likely to go to a dictor and find out about these issues. Men dont go and die earlier

Swear it was a the fucking bints who voted to let in all of the fucking Muzzies and Paki niggers. Sometimes I wish I was a bloody bender.

Yeah I've noticed this too but also they have special dietary requirements.

Ah, the 10's of millions of them that can't have gluten and peanuts - I try to move past that conversation as soon as possible. Also funny if they really enjoy peanut butter sandwiches.

When you’re being racist, you have to be coherent enough that you don’t give everybody a brain aneurysm.

"No, it's not accurate to say men are more likely to have peanut allergies than women. While some studies show boys are more likely to be diagnosed with peanut allergies than girls in childhood, this trend reverses in adulthood, with women experiencing higher rates of food allergies, according to allergy research studies."

For the longest time males were considered the standard human for any sort of clinical trial or research, which has definitely been a contributing factor to this phenomenon.

Why are they more likely to be diagnosed?

"Food allergies" isnt specific enough

Usually I find your replies factual, (with a key exception)
I had no way of knowing, so I hit the web and what you see is what the web says.

Looked this up for both of us to enjoy,

"The US life expectancy currently ranks 49th globally.

"While this is a significant drop from previous rankings, it's projected to fall further, potentially to 66th by 2050, according to a study published in the Lancet. This decline places the US behind many other developed nations in terms of how long its citizens are expected to live"

From my point of view, men tend to be over emotional ones.

When men think that men are more emotional, they aren't considering that anger is an emotion
