Is it scary? I'm afraid of a lot of things: women, girls, old people, interacting with employees at businesses, parties, going out, people sitting next to me (who I dont know), but death isn't at all scary. The idea of my body failing (not completely but just leaving me less mobile or capable) is a scary thought, but when that happens there's always the ultimate remedy. I see death as something to be welcomed. It's peace. You don't know you are dead, and if somehow you do then there is an afterlife and death is merely a transition.
Dying probably sucks, but death itself seems like a release. No stress, no anxieties, no worries.

I heard someone call death "the ultimate gift of life" the other day. The old must clear the way for the new, and one day the new will be old and swept away once again. Something like that. But at the same time no one really wants to die, they want to live and be happy. But stuff get's in the way of that sometimes.
