Depends on how Irish you are. If you’re Catholic then you can get excommunicated from the church because apparently Freemason beliefs contradict Christianity from the perspective of the Vatican.

That doesn't make it a disqualifier for the Masons, that makes Masonry a disqualifier for Catholicism.

You can attend a lodge and be openly Catholic, the members are unlikely to rat you out.

Although, if you don’t obey Catholic practices and beliefs then you’re not a real Catholic who actually believes in the religion, you’re just somebody roleplaying to fit into two social groups at the same time.
