I'm hoping one of the terms of the Ukraine settlement is that all these Russian fast food knock-offs like Vkusno i Tochka ('McDonald’s') that came about due to sanctions get to enter the Western markets.

That would be amusing but I hope that if there is any settlement or agreement that the sanctions stay on Russia no matter what.

I would disagree. There were sanctions on Russia before the invasion so there will be some after. I just hope they remain the same or worse.

I mean, every country, including the UK, has sanctions on it from the US (they regulate how much North Sea oil you're allowed to drill and to whom you can sell it - yay "sovereignty"!). But the idea that the vast majority of the sanctions imposed after the 2022 invasion won't be lifted is just not grounded in reality. America has already said "almost all" (their phrase) of the sanctions would have to be lifted.
This is all just you putting on a brave face. You care about McDonalds deeply, and probably the only thing you want out of the war ending is for your beloved McDonalds to come back.
