I downloaded Bumble again out of boredom. Got one like, so I swiped and swiped hoping to get lucky and match with her to at least see what she was like, but I never matched with anyone. So now I’m on two full days without a single match. And I haven’t had the first match on Facebook dating since I signed up for it again a couple months ago.
If I’m not attractive enough in specially curated photos to find a girl on a dating app, then how the hell am I supposed to do so in person?
I’m 29 years old. I feel like I had my life stolen from me before it even started. I want to actually fall in love again.

I didn’t just swipe on everyone. I carefully swiped, and reviewed each profile to match up the limited info it gave me from her profile.
I typically swipe left on girls that I can tell are out of my league. I mostly swipe right on the ones that look like someone I could actually see myself having a good time with, and there aren’t a whole lot of them in this area.
Still got nothing.

Isn't the ratio like 30:1 on those apps?? I'm not saying don't use them, but if the lady folk can meet guys every weekend, it could take you 30 times as long.

They just take a massive amount of persistence, for an average man. Yeah they're demoralising as hell, you'll get suddenly ghosted and have weeks of no matches, but if you stick to it you might eventually click with a woman and get a relationship out of it.
But think of it like this. If you don't use the apps then you definitely won't find anybody, but if you do then you have a chance and that chance increases the longer you stick to it.

Hey Erik, I saw you asked about how to find love. Well you know, I actually have experience with that. It just takes dedication. It takes effort. You gotta put in the work. No days off. It’s about team effort, teamwork. It takes God. You’ve gotta follow the lord’s message in order to manifest teamwork, dedication, team effort, among other things. Just give it your all. Don’t give up. Believe in your dreams. You just have to visualize your success. And don’t let anybody tell you no in this life. Give it your all.
