I'm not going to lie. A part of me questions how I didn't see it before. I love ancient Middle Eastern history like Mesopotamia as well as biblical studies. Islam offers me all three faiths in one. Judaism and Christianity included.
I'm currently mapping out the Exodus of Moses (yes, I know there is insufficient evidence that such an exodus took place), but still, I find it interesting. Fuck you.
Plus I think one thing I drawn me to Islam is that the powers of God all seemed to be mapped to natural phenomenon instead of having a broader exaggerated mythos, dare I say.
And perhaps I was already starting to believe that the expression "God Provides" was tailored to nature.
Who made the mountains? Who made the rivers, the lakes, the seas, and the tides? Did not He?
And by made... I mean set in motion.
