It’s also technically not an image board, it’s a text board that happens to allow images. I actually don’t use image boards. I’ve never posted anything on 4chan in my life. I saw some YouTube video when I was a kid talking about hackers on 4chan, but I went there once, loaded it up, I saw some weird furry and anime stuff, I tried posting something, it wanted me to upload an image, except it didn’t allow for a URL, it wanted me to download an image onto my hard drive then upload it, and I just didn’t feel like it, so I never went back.

Honestly I don’t even know why anybody would waste their money keeping a site like this up and have zero advertisements. I’d never do that and I do not know what the motivation for that is.

I guess there’s sort of a libertarian vibe to it. At least with the people who use it. I’m not a libertarian at all in any way whatsoever. But I do find it ironic I see people yap about free speech and how we need to allow racism and yet the mods just delete anything that personally offends them as an individual. Like if you call a mod stupid they’ll delete your post but if you justify the holocaust they won’t, and if you ask them why, they’ll just tell you "blah blah blah free speech." It’s kinda dumb.
