Apparently there's an area of the East Coast of Africa which is unclaimed. The thing is no one wants it. No resources, basically. All you would have is sunlight as a resource. You can still get water from the atmosphere but that requires energy.

Under international law Antarctica can’t be claimed as territory by any nation. But you can dedicate your little section of it to scientific research if you want.
