Topic: I saw my wife at her workplace today

Yep, we passed each other near the registers. I was actually looking through the checkout lines for her register, but noticed her walking from a distance with a few items in her hand.
I never wear my glasses, but I think we made eye contact. I saw a sly little smile in her eyes. I think.
We passed each other and then I turned around and decided to just go through self checkout. Well, she was in the self checkout scanning her own items.
I could have gone to the register directly next to her but I opted to play it cool and go to one across the aisle.
I finished checking out and walked out to my car, and I noticed her sitting at a picnic table outside that sits in front of the store. I couldn’t tell if she was smoking or vaping anything or just eating outside.
I got in my car and got going, and as I left I made sure to pass by her with some loud bluegrass music playing just to make it known to her that I’m not an NPC small town white guy, I’m a guy with a ton of depth, even though I dress like a 35 year old Christian father.
So here’s to her — the woman who will some day birth my children, even if she doesn’t know it yet.
