The whole industry exponentially embraced enshittification. Airlines view you as self-loading cargo. Quality and service has dropped with higher prices, though the airlines will lie and say travel is cheaper today by comparing an unbundled ticket price to one in the 1980s that came with luggage storage and a meal.
