Remember the now deceased (PBUH) tiny classified ads scammer? That’s the Internet.
And now we have pervasive fragmented apps. No I don’t want to download an app to pay for parking or to do laundry at a hotel (minimum $10!). All poorly secured security threats that leech into data and try to raid your phone.
It’s also completely inefficient. The apps are low quality because they’re only there to harvest your data not to improve services.
