I hadn’t used ChatGPT in a while, but last night I asked it to make a list of cities and cite a source for the population statistics. It returned a bunch of links and they were all error 404s. I assumed they would have figured that out by now, but I guess not.

Also… in general… with the stuff going on the in the news right now… it’s pretty obvious the law doesn’t apply to billionaires. So probably the internet is just going to turn into an AI generated slop thing nobody wants.

It’s mostly there. Read about “dead Internet” theory. It’s mostly bots and processes. Reddit snuffed out the rest of message board culture with bots and fakery.
