He wasn’t a scientist. He worked in finance by lying about his credentials and saying he had a degree even though he dropped out of college. By the time he got fired from his job, he’d already made enough money and had made enough connections with wealthy people that he was able to start his own hedge fund. So he networked with wealthy people in order to convince them to give him money so he could buy a private island to rape children on. And some of the people on that island were scientists like Stephen Hawking.

The theory of relativity was Albert Einstein. Stephen Hawking came up with hawking radiation which is a theory for how black holes can "evaporate" by sucking in virtual particles.
