if you're really craving for a fix of copium, you could go for old-earth creationism that advocates for the metaphorical interpretation of the book of genesis. unfortunately old-earth creationism doesn't get around so much because if you advocate for one metaphorical interpretation of the bible, you open yourself up to other metaphorical interpretations, and that makes legislating based on literal interpretations extremely difficult to argue for
