The professional user base is abandoning Apple tech and has been doing for some time, because Apple are now aiming more towards the 'i want computar that jus works' crowd. I read an article on it in PC Pro Magazine.

Using union labor is both a waste of time and money in the minds of shareholders and those who understand successful corporations. Corporations like Apple don't care about providing quality products - THAT is the last thing on their minds. They want to profit off of cheaply-made goods and monopolyright and monopolectual property infringement.

The entire market isn't doing as good as it should. Also the current stock price isn't anywhere near the 52 week low. I think what you are seeing is a bad market combined with initial reaction to uncertainty with the death of Steve Jobs. It's way too early to think Apple is finished.
