Topic: How much do buildings cost?

My university is building a new building so I googled it and while I was walking around. Apparently it cost them like $300 million to build a 7 story building. Is that really how much buildings cost to build? If it’s that expensive to build a 7 story building, how much does it cost to build a 100 story building?

The crackhouse I lived in was worth around $500'000. $1.5M including the land. Literal biker crackhouse. 100 yr old piece of shit building.
