Syrup Trash's song, I Don't Want to Be A Millennial, was this song inspired by Jennette McCurdy's Generation Love?

Be it coincidental or intentional, these two songs have a nice contrast. They both speak volumes to what it means to be born into the generation that is commonly referred to as the "Millennial generation," and one tends to focus on the negative and often public perception, or at least, was a few years ago, of who millennials are while the other is a more positive, and dare I say, self-accepting look at being a millennial.
