Topic: Belief in God and Christians currently in Texas.

Christian parents send children to a Christian camp. Gods weather not so much so good. DOGE laid off thousands of weather forecasters. 27 Christians are not returning to Christian homes.
Still blows my mind people actually believe in this so called God.
PS: Over the top sarcasm mixed in.

27 young girls drowned to death... imagine how terrified they must've been in those final moments. And your first instinct is to use that to score internet points? You don't have to believe in God, but basic human decency shouldn't be that hard.

I feel the pain of the parents. I feel the pain at loss of life. The many INCELS of this forum will feel...
This reminds me of the World Trade center disaster. The millions who were praying to God while they watched the 2nd plane head in for Islam victory. Apparently the terrorists who prayed to Allah, got what they were after.
Because if someone is seeking to take a higher moral position they should probably strive to be better than the people they are criticising. In this case, Republicans. Your rationale of "why should Syntax be held to a higher standard than the shitbags whose indifferent cruelty he's mocking?" is idiotic.
> You can mock someone for stupidity without being moral
Yes, you can, and so I again ask you: which kind of "higher standard" were you referring to in the post I quoted, if not moral? A higher standard of intelligence?

You of course are intitled to your opinion. One can be sure of the many soon to be funerals, a pastor is going to use the cop out - We don't know what Gods master plan is.

Tbh I really wish liberals would distinguish between Catholics and Protestants because I don’t like Evangelicals either. But using Christian and Evangelical interchangeably creates a false dichotomy between atheism and extreme Christianity. I don’t know any Catholics that believe that natural disasters happen when people don’t believe hard enough. I mean, we all die in the end anyway, so I don’t think death is particularly a sign of anything at all. God promised us one thing. Some people call it the great equalizer. You think you’re better than me? Well we’re both going to be worm food…
I’m not gay but I’m not homophobic either. Pretending to be a gay black dude as a white dude for days on end saying you like cocks over and over again is extremely gay though. Not saying I hate gay people, but like… just because you say it with my name doesn’t mean it’s not still you saying it Meta. It’s extremely gay of you.

Tbh the belief that your luck in life is a sign of whether you’re going to Heaven is a Protestant belief. Catholicism is actually the other way around. Poverty is considered to be a virtue. I mean, the Protestant belief has some benefits, like this whole workaholic American culture did create a lot of prosperity. It also sorta justifies racism though because if you believe how rich you are is a sign of how much God loves you, that makes it easy to look down on people poorer than you which tends to keep them poorer. Which is pretty unethical.
> Should he be held to a higher standard of intelligence? Of decency?
That's what I'm asking you.
> Why must the non religious go high when the religious constantly go low?
To elevate yourself above the level of the people you're disdaining. Otherwise you're no different to the people you're mocking and you might as well spend your time holding yourself in contempt instead of them.

@1,375,606 (SakawaBoyGenius) > God promised us one thing.
If you look it up you will discover science has found the most ancient of bones with arthritis in the joints. This God of yours created man and cancer.
Clearly God failed genetics 101.
> I'm not a racist. You're the one always shouting about being a gay black Japanese boy.
I’m not gay or Japanese. That’s a guy impersonating me. Although if I was, black, gay, and Japanese, if you had a problem with that, that would make you a racist though. A lot of people have sarcasm deficiency though.
I don’t think I ever said I was Japanese. I think I said I was Chinese as a joke one time because somebody said I wasn’t black so it was a sarcastic thing.
> >God promised us one thing. > If you look it up you will discover science has found the most ancient of bones with arthritis in the joints. This God of yours created man and cancer. > Clearly God failed genetics 101.
I was referring to death. Death is natural. So brining up disease as a counterargument to me saying God promised us death doesn’t really make sense. If anything that supports what I was saying lol. Also I believe in evolution. Genetic mistakes are a part of nature. Just because God exists doesn’t mean radiation can mess up your DNA and cause cancer. God isn’t bending the trajectory of every little stray proton to perfectly miss a biological organism.

The whole reason the Japanese thing was funny though is because a sakawa boy is a slang term originating from Ghana that means internet scammer, but there’s also a World War Two era Japanese battleship that was coincidentally called the Sakawa.
> So just to be clear, you don't think we should kill whitey?
I think we should kill Nazis. White people are not Nazis. Most Nazis are white people. Most of them, but not all. There is also Kanye West and some obnoxious people in Japan who try to spread the message that immigrants are destroying the peace by being way more problematic and loud and disruptive than the foreigners are.

Although tbh I find it hard to take white nationalists seriously, because they try and talk all this talk to seem though, but then they’re always the most bitchy people. Like they’ll say Europe should be white but then if you bring up South Africa they start crying about how unfair it is for these poor poor colonizers who own 80% of the land that get killed occasionally for absolute no reason and totally not because they’re a tiny minority controlling the majority of a nations resources.

Not saying murder is justified: just saying, white people don’t get killed in South Africa because white people in Africa never did anything wrong. Not saying it’s justified, it’s not, just saying, you don’t have to be that intelligent to put two and two together. Maybe people don’t appreciate being murdered and enslaved for hundreds of years and then being told by wealthy people who stole all their resources that they should be thankful because the white man is so much smarter.

From what I can tell, this was forecasted by the National Weather Service and the standard weather warnings (i.e. the same kind of TV/radio/text alerts that would have been issued if this happened 12 months earlier under Biden) were issued and went out (at least one person in a NYT story said she ignored the warnings because most weather alerts amount to nothing), not everyone received texts because cellular phone coverage is patchy in the region due in large part to the hilly geography. And of course given the time of day this happened, I don't think most people would have been watching TV news or listening to the radio.
The bigger factor here, in my opinion, is the lack of an air raid siren warning (like they do for tornadoes in affected regions) for flooding. This would normally be a state/local deal and not something the Federal government would normally do. There have been several efforts in the past to get a siren warning built in the area, but they have been rejected (again, on the local not Federal level) for cost reasons. This may change in the future.

One thing I do wonder though - would lifeboats be feasible for people living/camping along the river? Just some cheap fiberglass boats, painted orange, with tarps over them and chained to a tree or concrete block. When the flooding starts, you just head for the lifeboat and hang on. Since it's tethered to a concrete block, you won't get washed miles downstream either but just stay more or less where you are.

1987 Guadalupe River Flood - The 1987 Guadalupe Flood is unfortunately known for the tragic loss of 10 teenagers lives and 33 other injuries when a bus and van leaving a church camp encountered the flood waters (see below).
Apparently no lessons were learned at all. Oh and Camp Mystic is right at the Guadalupe River.

The catholism blasphemy actually has proportionately less pedophilia than the equivalent countries teachers union. Pedoslam and hollyjew each have waaaayyy more child abuse.

Also, the local Pedoslam district and HollyJew has more child abuse than in nigger catholic countries, whereit is commonly believed that raping children cures the flavor of the month nigger meme virus.

@1,375,679 (SakawaBoyGenius) > colonizers
The colonial era ended decades ago. Nobody alive today colonized anybody. Get over it.
> who own 80% of the land
They don't. (Source: SA government stats)
> that get killed occasionally
All the time.
> for absolute no reason
It's because they're white and their attackers are disgusting murderous racist thugs.
> a tiny minority controlling the majority of a nations resources.
Read that over again and consider how ridiculous it sounds, given who that nation is currently run by.

Not true in the slightest! Islam is an ideology of total colonization, so every muslim(even the wannabes like our local tranny freak) is guilty of colonization! Furthermore colonization happens every day in nigfrica.

Yeah, but I was talking about South Africa in particular - no British or Dutch or other European person alive today in that country is guilty of being a "colonizer" as this idiot claims.

South Africa wasn’t decolonized until the 1990s, they are still alive. A country that is a black majority country controlled by a white minority is not a decolonized country. Plenty of people from the 1990s are still with us. It’s you that don’t know what you’re talking about.

The apartheid government literally created nuclear weapons because they were afraid another black majority African government would invade South Africa to liberate it and create a democracy.
Anonymous U triple-posted this 6 months ago, 1 minute later, 5 days after the original post[^][v]#1,376,437
I’m not making the nuclear weapons thing up by the way. South Africa still has enough highly enriched uranium left over from the white ruled apartheid government to create (obviously exact amounts are classified so estimates vary) on the order of around 10 nuclear bombs.

Nigeria wasn’t decolonized until the 1960s, it’s only 64 years old. When the United States was 64 years old, we still had slavery but people ask why Africa is still poor like they think this doesn’t still affect the world.

When people criticize African nations for associating with *particular* countries instead of *particular* countries, people sort of skip over the history of what the "good guys" did.

That’s not accurate. For example, 95% of people in the Democratic Republic of the Congo identify as Christian with more than half being Catholics. Nigeria does have a large Muslim population, but Nigeria also has about 100 million Christians, which is a population larger than most European countries.

It’s also not necessarily the case, it can be the case, but it isn’t necessarily the case that a religion spreading to one part of the world from another implies colonization. Christianity originated in Israel, but Israel never conquered all of Europe. It’s true Christians and Muslims conquered parts of Africa, it’s also true there are African religions in the Americas in places like Haiti and Brazil, but Africans didn’t colonize those countries.

@1,376,445 (S) > Nigeria has islam. A whole lot of it, infact. Much like every subsaharan "country" for lack of a better term.
Again, context buddy. Nigeria and South Africa are not remotely the same country.
@1,376,435 (U) > South Africa wasn’t decolonized until the 1990s, they are still alive. A country that is a black majority country controlled by a white minority is not a decolonized country.
Balls. South Africa ceased to be a British colony in 1961.
