Went from a niche flat toned actress with a recognizable career to a balding 5’1” manlet flaunting his vanity double mastectomy scars. Not much need for that on film.

In the Movie Hard Candy, Ellen Page When Jeff wakes, he finds himself bound to a steel table with a bag of ice on his genitals, making them numb.
Hayley tells him that she intends to castrate him. Jeff attempts to dissuade her, including by telling her he was abused as a child in a play for sympathy, but fails. Hayley consults a medical book to guide her through the procedure, describing it to Jeff as she performs the operation. Once it is finished, Hayley puts down the scalpel and puts something appearing to be testicles in the kitchen sink garbage disposal. She turns it on and walks away, saying she needs a shower."

I am pretty gay though
Just...gay for women
Not all the way though
Idk genitals aren't important to me
If you like a person i dont see why their genitals are important (as long as, you know, there's no diseases going on)

She was never hot. She had a good indie career. Less so for someone who looks like one of those TV sitcom child actors all grown up. We should tell schizophrenics who think they can fly to live their truth and hand them wings.

Ok so what's the problem then? You didn't like Ellen Page as an actress and you don't like Elliott Page as an actor. Nothing has really changed.
Encouraging someone to attempt to fly is directly encouraging self-harm. I don't see how transitioning is a form of self-harm. Men taking testosterone supplements are participating in gender-affirming treatment. Are you against that? Are you against plastic surgery as a whole?
as of now, transitioning is the best treatment for gender dysphoria.
If you're going for the "it's bad to encourage delusions" angle (ignoring that we fundamentally disagree on transgenderism/gender dysphoria being a delusion), afaik it is generally recommended to avoid directly confronting/arguing with someone in a delusional state (dementia, schizophrenic, etc) about their delusions.
> Same. Some people thought she was hot but she just looked like a child
Agreed. I feel the same way about all of these kindermuff actresses like Jenna Ortega. Every time she tries to be sexy in a movie she looks like a tween who needs an intervention and to have her social media accounts seized.
