Topic: I'm thinking Democrats may be my party affiliation
Anonymous A started this discussion 1 week ago#127,059
I mean think about it... The Dems are living it up! During this peaceful protests, they get things from stores for free, bonfires on every street corner, standing in the road blocking traffic, flipping cars over, throwing rocks and fireworks at cops, running wild in the streets all night, don't have to work....
Compared to the Republicans, the Democrats got it going on!
Jan6 was nothing, the Dems gonna show them how it's done!

I don't think that Libertarians really exist anymore. They all just became Trump supporters and suddenly decided that they really love protectionism and heavy government intervention.

My main problem with libertarianism is that it’s never worked before. People say socialism has never worked before, but like it or not, North Korea exists. Where does anarchy exist? Nowhere?

(North Korea is definitely evil, I’m just saying, it is possible to create a totalitarian dictatorship, it’s not possible to create a plot of land with no organized hierarchy with humans living on it because humans are greedy scumbags and we naturally want to control other people more than we want freedom.)

The Mises Caucus seized control in 2022. A bunch of white supremacists also pushed their way in and pissed off the traditional libertarians. Their only hope would be to become big enough to be a spoiler party. I believe their best election ever only had 4.5 million votes.
