You get unbiased information that way. That’s why I always ask atheists what they think of Egyptian gods. Amun Ra was not the sun god, he was actually an alien from outer space that taught black people how to stack rocks in geometric shapes. Atheists are smart.

A pastor is a religious leader of the Christian branch. Christianity and Islam, while connected through shared stories, have been at odds for centuries. You're going to get biased information that way. Speak to an Iman instead. They'd know their religion better. Unless you're too much of a pussy to do that.
> Why are you asking a pastor about matters related to an entirely different religion?
My flock frequently ask me questions about Islam or Judaism. How can you know your religion is the true one if you're not intimately familiar with all the others?

The situation involving Aisha and her marriage to The Prophet. NOTE: Aisha is a heavily respected figure in Islam in many ways.

It may be true I have little respect for the Moslem religion. That does not make me a racist.
Oh, I also think Christianity is cobbled bullshit. However I rejoice because religions based on God also are based on Incest. Their God created incest to build the human race. As if this all powerful God, could only make a couple of people at the get-go.

Tbh, I find it kind of hard to disrespect Islam. Mainly because so many white people are racist assholes but I’ve actually never met a racist Arab.

I know that Christians and Jews enslaved people. The trans Atlantic slave trade was on a larger scale though. In the ancient world, slavery was also different. Because there were societies like Rome for instance where slavery wasn’t based on race. Instead slaves were usually POWs who could work to earn Roman citizenship. Which is very different from American slavery.

The British weren’t doing it because they were Christian or because they thought it was good. Slavery was actually illegal in the British isles the entire time. But the British created a separate set of laws for their colonial holdings. If you were black in England, it would always have been illegal to enslave you. It had more to do with greed and outright hypocrisy.

If I'm not mistaken, within a scientific perspective; incest was an inevitable consequence. You wouldn't be here without a little incest. I forgot who said those words I was echoing, but I know where I heard them from; "Hello, Michael here." Now that I think about it... quite a lot of incest.
