It probably takes ten homosexuals to offset the amount of pollution I produce in a year. Between my big ass truck and the thousands of individually wrapped single serving containers of food I go through it's going to take a lot more homosexuals to offset my carbon footprint if I'm ever going to have a family.

Hard to say. They have somehow kept up the anti-government image, despite only paying lip service to the idea of small government (as a party). People are mad at the government because of the economy, but that's just getting people into the voting booths. The party is kind of having to pander to the tea party element, which is really not under the control of the republican leadership.
I also stopped following politics. I have no one to support. I have no faith in my government. I don't believe in the president's ability to lead the country. I have no faith in the senate or house. I have no faith in either party. I have no faith in any third party candidates. Most of all, I have no faith in the people and the democratic process in general.
I believe the country is collapsing. No one is doing anything to stop it. It's all individuals trying to do what's best for themselves right now, and i fear it's leading to disaster.
