I watched it for the first time in several years and regardless of the produce quality, which should be expected from a team with a limited budget, the acting and the comedy are superb. It just goes to show you that you don't need fancy CGI graphics to craft a clever story. And the women who played God in the film is amazing too, she should maybe be nominated for an award, but perhaps she already has been.

That was the sweet spot for fringe projects - not sure how profitable it was for everyone with capeshit soaking up all the numbers but that was the time for small cult followings.

I never thought capeshit was still that prominent at the box office honestly. Sure, Marvel continues to put out films, but they're just doing what they're doing. DC seemed to have dropped off for sometime.

Marvel seems to still be going strong though.
They just seem to have moved on to streaming platforms mostly.
It's a shame too since cinemas is one form of entertainment complex that I greatly appreciate.
