Topic: Here are my thoughts on polyamorous relationships.

I have nothing against them. Only if all parties involved consent to such an arrangements. And while there have been times when I, myself, questioned if I am polyamorous and while sometimes it may seem as if I am. I don't have enough evidence to really give a straight-forward answer, mostly because I never experienced jealousy or so I think anyway, but I can have a strong hunch that I'm not polyamorous just because the idea of sharing my significant other with another person just doesn't set right with me. And I know I talked about Islam in the past and the folks here will point out that men can have four wives, but much like the Pirate's Code, in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, maybe they're just guidelines from another time. There are many different schools of thoughts in Islam and sure, someone may have said this, this still doesn't mean men HAVE to have four wives. It just says they CAN so my interests and study in Islam doesn't reflect my relationship goals or relationship status. If I ever find a partner, no, husband, damn it. I'm a woman and I want to be a wife, not a partner, and if you don't like that then that sounds like a you problem, mate. But as a wife, I want to be the only one, not the second, not the third, or even the fourth. I want to be someone's one and only.
And sure, there was a love that I realized was too late. They had moved on to another person and while she offered me an opportunity to join them in what I could only assume was a polyamorous relationship. I refused. She believed that polyamorous relationships were a myth and wanting to drop the conversation just out of uncomfortably, I acknowledged, but I did stated that I believe polyamorous relationships are a thing. It just takes a special kind of person and a special kind of connection to make them work. That's not me. I just want one husband and I want to be his wife. And yeah, I'm open to dating women, but for once in my life... I just want to know what it's like to be loved by a guy and to love him back. And maybe get married and have kids one day. One to two is my limit, but I'll be open to a third if one were to find us. I've been wanting to adopt a son after a close friend talked me into it. I like the idea and hey. Islam does praise those who adopt.
Maybe things are working according to some grand plan on Earth and in Heaven. And maybe even in Hell/Jahannem. I did feel like I not only bonded with Allah during these past few weeks, but the devil too, and I feel them both speaking through me sometimes. God damn, do I feel schizophrenic and yet my logical deduction skills remain sharp if not sharper. Whatever, it's not like a majority of people here gave a shit about me outside of a few individuals, so think what you're going to think. But perhaps, another self-fulfilling prophecy came true. I married the devil in a metaphorical sense and now I want a divorce, because he's annoying the shit out of me by making me doing the South Park impression. LOL
