Topic: I think there might be a reason why I feel drawn to Islam.

I'm going to assume everyone here can tell who I am by my text voice. Since everyone here always loves to point it out whenever I go anonymous. Plus, the mere mention of Islam is pretty telling, but I think the one reason that, despite many, has me drawn toward Islam is because...
I'm a sub. And the word "Islam" means "submission to God."
The past few weeks I've felt weird things happening to me, and regardless of how, they lead me to actually confront God inside of one of the biggest mosques in my state. And you know what, it actually felt good. To bow before the almighty creator of the universe.
So... I'll say this one more time. I think one of the biggest pulls I have toward Islam is... simply because...

The keyword there, my friend, is can. This is not a mandatory thing. In fact, whomever I marry, my boundary is that I'm his one and only. I can't do a polyamorous relationship.

Because you watch the news too much. The news media always focuses on the worst of minority groups. One terrorist group attacked the United States and as usual the news media and several politicians started to target all Muslim groups. A close friend of mine even pointed out that with current leaders like President Trump, he acquired a new found respect for past presidents such as George W. Bush, because at least, he never said that all Muslims are evil. You can find some references to this below.
Here is what the former Republican President said according to the White House archive website.
"These acts of violence against innocents violate the fundamental tenets of the Islamic faith. And it's important for my fellow Americans to understand that."
To my surprise, he spoke out a lot in favor of Islam.

It's no more a death cult than Christianity is honestly. I don't see Muslims in this country out there threatening to bomb abortion clinics where mothers are already having to make a difficult decision. I love how people get so wrapped over the notion that "abortion is murder" while neglecting the actual science behind the process and the mental toll it takes for a mother to conscientiously make that decision.
I don't personally like abortion myself, but I'm not going to go out there and say that it should be illegalized because if anything and I'm sure this is how very many people view it. It's a last ditch effort for when other potential ways have failed. That's what it, perhaps, should be to an extent. But it's not my place to make that call.

I have visited a mosque for the first time in my life. They welcomed me as if they were expecting me. It's actually one of the largest mosques in Southern California. So, perhaps, I have just a little more knowledge on this subject than you do. I can't guarantee that, but perhaps, you'd like to inform me. So, tell me, I'm all ears... what do you know about Islam, really?
Also, many religions have different branches, and many different schools of thought. So, what you're saying in terms of bullshit, what do you mean?

You're right, they don't threaten, they just go right in and do it.

You're correlating terrorists with Muslims. Besides, I don't see Christians being first in line to donate to Christian charity events. I haven't either, but a trusted friend told me that too.
Or perhaps, you're just a fucking asshole.

I remember someone here, some anon, told asked me if the character of Ms. Marvel was made for me. I never understood it then, but apparently, when I watched the TV series and reflect on the first comic line, I kind of get it. I resonate a lot with the character. Obviously, I'm not going to say she was created for me, but that should be a no shit moment.

@previous (I) > Yes, given their history I am not wrong to do so.'
Cross reference this with the history of Christianity, the full history, and get back to me on that one.

I don't think it's fair to hold Catherine to the standards we would hold most adults, she is more like a child in the body of an adult. We should go easy on her when she says things like this.
