Oh no! What are we gonna do with all those unemployed Iraqi former taxi drivers?

They're gonna get paid using your tax dollars, duh.

Usually when immigrants are laid off they turn to crime to feed themselves and their families. Good luck, UK!

In 2015 I was chatting about this to a taxi driver and he was very confident that there would never be driverless cars in the UK because the roads are fucked. I said never say never because things can change and advance very quickly.

Does Muhammad from Hackney still post here? How will he feed his 18 children?

I can't wait to see the costs between buying a driverless car and contracting a driver with a car.

Probably not, I'm surprised I remember him.

Driverless will probably be cheaper because they can operate 24/7, I think we'll see a lot of surge pricing where it's more expensive if there's no units nearby and less expensive if there's lots of units and not demand.

When my cousin Kolo lost his job as a driver he found it very hard to find new work because he doesn't speak any English. That's why he's been on welfare for the last 7 years and spends his time either at the Mosque or at his house in Croydon.

Bless you for your concern brother Svet!

they'll be driverless because they will be parked away as there is not enough incentive to do it, not because of robot cars

Keep waiting. Every "self driving" prototype has been a scam.
