I'm playing cyberpunk 2077 again and I'm considering whether to side with Johnny or V.

Now the way I see it, V died when she got shot in the head at the end of act 1. Biological death occured, and it was only the chip fulfilling it's function that brought V back to life.

So really, it isn't Vs body any more, she's just a temporary custodian while the chip reconfigures the wetware for Johnny to take control, and only happens to be feeling a simulation of consciousness because of the neuron paths in the brain, but really the actual V is dead and in the afterlife or whatever happens.

And yourselves? Who do you prefer to side with in the end? And why?
