Just built a new computer a couple months ago and suddenly won't boot, turns out it's an obscure issue with the SSD's controller firmware becoming corrupted and shitting the bed (the dreaded "SATAFIRM S11" for those interested in googling it). Interestingly, I can still read some parts of the disk, and I was able to back up some files. Writing to the disk doesn't seem possible. Attempts to format it have all failed.
Luckily this PC was purely for gayming so I'm not out anything important but shucks I just wanted to unwind and play some vidya tonight and now I'm troubleshooting and RMA'ing this piece of shit instead :(

PNY. I've read that Kingston drives get this too, though I've owned several over the years with no issue. First PNY drive I've ever owned though, just got unlucky I guess.
