The plain sugar water "wine" turned out much better imo. Concord grapes (what grape juice is from) is the wrong kind of grape and it tastes dreadful as a result. My winemaking days are well over but I still don't get why people overcomplicate winemaking. If people thousands of years ago could do it with very primitive apparatus, there's no reason you can't make it work.

Fun fact: in 48 hours it will be seven years since I last drank alcohol! It's important to note though that was my like 1000th attempt. I'm just glad it stuck this time. I was no longer able to properly metabolize alcohol and the hangovers were getting way too severe and I was getting intense derealization all the time too.
