This is the paedophile who was disembowelled in his cell after he boasted about his sick crimes.
Two prisoners will appear in court today after convicted child rapist, Mitchell Harrisson was found dead.
The mutilated body of Harrison, 23, originally from Wolverhampton, was found at Frankland Prison in Durham by prison staff on Saturday morning. It’s the same prison where Soham killer Ian Huntley was slashed in the throat last year.
A post-mortem examination found that he had died from "multiple injuries".
It is understood that he was attacked with makeshift weapons, thought to be razor blades melted into toothbrush handles.
Harrison was serving an indeterminate sentence of at least four-and-a-half years after being convicted at Carlisle Crown Court in January last year of raping a 13-year-old girl.
He lured her to his flat where he ordered her to strip, before raping her twice, the court heard.
When he was aged 13 he received a formal warning for the indecent assault of a 7-year-old girl and when he was 15 he was taken to couert for threatening to rape a classmate.
