It's great and all that they're reducing the plastic, but I think it's a bit overkill when the caps are so small that half the time they don't even screw on right the first time.

It's pointless. Everyone needs to chip in now. It's already too late. Everyone is acting for their own benefit and the damage on a wide scale is catastrophic.

Not really a pro-environment move, but the resin market finally became bad enough that the cost of building new molds (for lightweighted packaging) was justified.
You'll probably see a lot more glass and metal packaging move to plastic in the next few years as well, actually. No one gives a shit about the environment in packaging decisions (just take a look at BPA).

It starts with eco-friendly bottles, next thing you know they will be taking 70% of your paycheck to fund other social and eco-projects. Forcing you to take public transportation and live somewhere that has space comparable to a shed. All the while they drive around in stretch limos, flying in private jets, living in huge mansions and paying less in taxes because you pay more. I seriously hope you enjoy being grin-fucked while you are being screwed out of your hard earned paycheck because some dickhead in Congress feels someone deserves your money more than you.

Well, to be seriously for a second I think that these kinds of "eco-friendly" bottles, and more generally eco-friendly products in many instances seem less like bold initiatives and steps in the right direction than they seem to be a rather bold declaration that they know consumers are stupid, lazy and have too much discretionary spending. They sell it because people will buy it, and "eco-friendly" products are nothing but --yet another, marketing ploy aimed at stupid people. By their definition of it, it includes everyone who buys their products.
That being said, I'm drinking a bottle of Ozarka as I type this.
