The AFD is supposed to be the alt right party in Germany. Their leader is a white lesbian woman in an interracial relationship with a woman from Sri Lanka.

I don’t think it has truly registered in the minds of the world that the Germans are no longer the Nazis they once were, and even the most extreme right wing of their society are just lesbians with a leather fetish.

The problem with Germany is someone forgot to turn off the Allied propaganda machine after WW2. So they've just had the 1946 edition Germans Bad Evil Nazis propaganda for 80 years now. Look at Japan. We turned off the Allied propaganda machine (or at least someone remembered to periodically change the discs out) when we packed up the occupation and they're doing just fine.

At least they're not perpetually smug and shitty to Americans in real life and online. They're respectful and I think genuinely thankful and appreciative of our military protection. While I'm not sure it's in America's long-term interests for Japan to lack the means to protect itself, I think there are unique historical circumstances we have to respect with regard to them and I don't begrudge them.

I know the heavily black parts of town are frequently the nicest in my experience. It's a shame white people were redlined out of living in them for so long.
